I have been interested in computer science since I was an egg, well an undergrad at least. My Captain Caveman appearance and social inadequacy renders me an ideal UNIX development bod. I can survive for months without daylight, and need little attention with regard to feeding. As long as my CD player works and there are strings on my guitars, I am kept fairly happy.

"Computers manufactured by companies such as IBM, Compaq, Tandy, and millions of others are by far the most popular with about 70 million machines in use worldwide. Macintosh fans, on the other hand, may note that cockroaches are far more numerous than humans and that numbers alone do not denote a higher life form." New York Times, November 26, 1991

The opinions expressed in these pages are my own, and probably not the same as those of my employer, the University of Hertfordshire.

*The M.Sc. in Knowledge-Based Systems is no longer offered at Sussex, but is most closely matched by the currently offered "M.Sc. in Intelligent Systems".
